SINGAPORE – With the highest rate of mobile penetration worldwide (140% for 2015) and the entire territory covered by the fibre, Singapore is one of the three biggest IoT potentials in Asia- Pacific with North Korea and Taiwan. IoT is one of major aims of Singapore Smart Nation strategy, forecasting 6.6 connected objects per habitants by 2020. The success of the Smart Nation project will be conditionnal upon completely controlled and efficient Cyber Security solutions. The stake is even more strategic that Singapore identifies more than 1600 fraudulent access on sensible websites, and that less than 1% of informatics sector professionals master cyber security skills.
AUSTRALIA – The IoT sector in Australia, which should grow by 20% in the next few years, represents a massive potential in Australia. High speed Internet, which will cover 100% of the territory by 2019, combined with the appetite of a wealthy population of early adopters, will fuel the demand in this sector.
